Executive Chef

 

 

Daniel Knerr has been the Executive Chef and heart of the Black Pearl Restaurant in Newport for the past 30 years. He was awarded USA Chef of the Year in 2004 at the ACF 42nd Annual Conference in Orlando.  He trained and worked with chefs in world-renowned restaurants such as Le Bec-Fin in Philadelphia, La Côte Basque in New York, Moulin de Mougins in southern France, Restaurant Taillevant in Paris and The French Laundry in California's Napa Valley.

Each week, Chef Knerr astonishes loyal customers and new visitors with culinary creations for all occasions.  His well-trained kitchen team have been faithfully at his side for decades that highlights a dining experience that should not be missed.
